For example, when it comes time to make a call, the numerical keypad pops up. When you're listening to music, the media controls emerge. When you take a picture, the camera controls rise to the surface. Some people scoffed at the idea, saying that it's nothing more than a glorified touchscreen or a set of touch-sensitive controls, but there is something called "haptics" that provides tactile feedback.
