On the one hands, Nokia 3100 is a cutting version of platform 40, which power such handsets as Nokia 6610/7210/6800, on the other – the new model is a sucessor of 3000 series. It is positioned above Nokia 2100, what indicated the higher status. It is impossible to compare this model with Nokia 3510i
