The Panasonic Clamshell named the SA 7 features an internal astounding color display of 16 million colors. It brings new meaning to the term TFT display. To take advantage of this superb display, we have a 2 Megapixel built-in camera into the device which uses the display as the view finder. The camera also has video recording capability. Obviously such a high end camera will require additional memory so that the user can shoot pictures and video without hesitation. The SA 7 is compatible with mini-SD card (slot has been provided).
In addition to these, the SA 7 has Bluetooth for connectivity and Synchronisation purposes. The clamshell has an external display which is also in color. The phone will have a Mp3 player and will also allow user to set Mp3 songs as ringtones. Changeable cover panels, something that was in vogue at one point of time has also made a come back in the SA 7. Equipped with a Lithium-Ion 1660 mAh makes it possible for the handset to have a 10 hour talk time with 400 hours of standby.
However the phone has no major connectivity features of which it can boast. The Infra red port that it does have, is completely obsolete. Bluetooth or USB which are the mediums of choice today are conspicious by their absence. The tri-band GSM SA 7 will be available in 3rd Quarter of 2005.

Review

I think it could be an excellent phone but it has no expansion slot for memory and that tracks him down!
