This year I've had to suffer this terrible product. First, its hot, burning hot. It actually has a sticker underneath that says something to the effect of "dont touch the palm rest too much or you'll be burned". No kidding. Then, It's slow as molasses. It loads an insane amount of toshiba software, that makes booting and logging a go-grab-a-cup-of-coffee affair. Do not even think of disabling any of that software, because basic features stop working like screen rotation or even the ability to disable the touchpad. Then the very same software will make sure that your computer remains slow. A simple action like a right click will slow the computer so much that the mouse becomes jerky. Lastly its a suicidal machine. It will turn itself on with no warning. Inside your laptop bag, when you're comming home from work. Result: it heats up so much that it fries itself (mine is on its third hard disk). Thankfully I did not pay for it, my company did. I'll be sure to demand ANY other brand on my next refresh. Stay away from this horrific product Source: http://asia.cnet.com |
