The Akai LCT2662 TV vaults viewers squarely into the 21st century. The 26-inch LCD model functions as a traditional TV, but is also capable of receiving next-generation high-definition content when paired with an HD tuner (sold separately). The resulting 1280 x 720 resolution is bright, sharp, and responsive, making everything from sporting events to reality shows come alive with vivid clarity and 3D-like realism. The TV's widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio is also great for watching 480p progressive scan DVDs or playing the latest video games, making it a true home theater centerpiece.
