The Hitachi CMP4221U plasma TV represents the latest generation of Hitachi plasma panel development. The unit offers improved brightness and stunning image reproduction capabilities. The design is optimized to offer a wide range of interface options and provide both HDMI and standard VGA analog computer interfaces. The HDMI supports both internal audio and is equipped with a 3.5mm stereo mini jack for supporting external audio when DVI-to-HDMI support is required. The serial interface is a RS232C compliant and supports all current commercial control hardware. The remote control is optimized to support discrete commands and a minimum instruction set. The OSD offers a wide array of picture controls that include auto adjust features for PC operation.
